EXPERIENCE
Marketing Content Specialist | Palmer Food Services | Rochester, NY | Jul 2022–Present
At Palmer Food Services, I connect marketing with sales, retail, and operations to turn business priorities into results. I lead integrated campaigns, product and service launches, sales enablement, retail communications, e-commerce, digital content, photography, and video across B2B and consumer channels.
Working cross-functionally from strategy through execution, I build scalable marketing systems, strengthen customer communication, and use performance insights to improve campaigns and support sales growth.
Marketing Consultant / Artist | Nicholas Roes Studio, LLC | Nov 2021–Present
Nicholas Roes Studio brings together my professional art practice and independent creative work. I create, exhibit, and sell original fine art through established gallery relationships, including representation by Kennedy Gallery in New Hampshire and International Art Acquisitions in New York. Managing the studio as a commercial practice has given me direct experience in positioning, audience development, digital marketing, e-commerce, gallery partnerships, and communicating the value of creative work within a competitive marketplace.
Through the studio, I have also provided marketing strategy, campaign development, branding, and e-commerce support to small businesses, applying the same focus on clear communication, thoughtful positioning, and meaningful audience engagement.
Marketing Director & Sales Coordinator | Tug Hill Vineyards | Lowville, NY | Sept 2018–Nov 2021
During my professional tenure as Marketing Director & Sales Coordinator, I led marketing, brand communications, and sales support across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, hospitality, and events—building on a working relationship with Tug Hill Vineyards spanning more than 16 years.
During a transition to new ownership, I partnered with ownership and production to refresh the brand while preserving the identity and customer loyalty built over time. I redesigned the logo, packaging and label system, retail environment, and marketing communications while helping refine the portfolio across wines, ciders, and spirits.
The work connected brand strategy with production, sales, and customer experience, helping guide the winery through a significant transition and contributing to 20% sales growth in 2020.
Art & Multi-Disciplinary Educator | Massachusetts & New Hampshire | 2015–2018
I taught visual arts and interdisciplinary coursework across public, charter, and specialized education settings, including Beverly High School, Northshore Education Consortium, Newburyport High School, Making Community Connections Charter School, and Raymond Middle School.
Working with students with diverse learning needs strengthened my ability to make complex ideas accessible, adapt communication to different audiences, and build engagement through visual and experiential learning. I collaborated with educators, administrators, and support teams to develop curriculum, coordinate programs, and create effective learning environments—experience that continues to shape how I approach communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving today.
